L Fest is a three-day, not for profit festival for lesbians and their allies taking place at Prestwold Hall Loughborough this weekend. It aims to create a visibly diverse and inclusive space for both the emerging and established LBT+ communities through an amalgamation of music, comedy, art, film, discussion, sports and a full programme of participatory workshops!
L Fest welcomes all the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. They aim to make the festival accessible for deaf and disabled festival goers, recently winning the Silver Attitude award for this commitment. You can take your children and even take your dogs!
I am thrilled to be able to confirm that I will be making an appearence on the Author’s panel on Saturday, starting at 10am.
I will doing a ten minute reading from my latest novel, Escape to Pirate Island and there will be a quick Q&A session afterwards.
Thankfully I’m won’t be completely alone as I will be joined by fellow writers Allie Rogers, Anna Larner, as well as writer and comedian Rosie Wilby who hosts Radio Diva on Resonance FM alongside Heather Peace. Although I think this will only serve to make me even more nervous!
So, if you are heading to L-Fest, make sure to come over to the author’s tent to say hi!
